introductions

THNKtions, LLC opened in 2005 when a small group of mechanical engineers decided that they wanted to concentrate their efforts on the engineering fundamentals of research, design, analysis, and manufacturing. All having a similar idea; each day should be filled with more engineering work and effective communication and less corporate process and politics. From the start THNKtions has concentrated on finding new projects and different challenges to constantly push professional boundaries in engineering design.

Our clients are usually companies and individuals without full engineering support to drive a project from beginning to end; so we are quite comfortable taking on the role of a complete engineering staff. Beginning at the point of refining a concept into a manufacturable design, incorporating existing components into newly designed systems for cost savings, and finding and directing a quality manufacturing facility, domestic or foreign; we can take a project as far as needed.

We are confident that THNKtions can provide a high level of engineering analysis and design work throughout all stages of product development. We are adept at finding innovative solutions to both expected and unexpected design challenges that arise throughout any new project. We welcome the opportunity to learn more about your current project and look forward to speaking to anyone about how THNKtions can help achieve a successful product design.

Jeff Hartman Managing Member

Jeff is a degree holding mechanical engineer, who, during most days, is obsessed with: design simplicity and practicality, the difference between accuracy and precision, and constantly working toward a better answer to the question, "What do you do ?". He is fascinated by the complexity of consciousness, the prevalence of hypocrisy, and donuts.

Kelly Frazier Managing Member

Kelly received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She also emphasized her studies with a minor in Communication. Combining her knowledge of engineering with an excitement for business organization and communication with peers and clients, Kelly took the idea of a small consulting company and made it THNKtions; a now successful and creative entity. She is currently working on receiving her Patent Agent license, and soon will be fully qualified and capable of taking clients through the patent application process. A native of Colorado, Kelly has lived in different parts of the US but concludes that Colorado will forever be 'home base'. She lives in Boulder and enjoys numbers, criticizing poor grammar (her own as well as others'), and cheese.
